Heulitt

Hi there! My name is Miya Heulitt, and I’m a New York City based dancer, singer, actor, and giggle girl, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. As a graduate of the Hartt School with a BFA in Musical Theatre, I am so excited to be pursuing my lifelong dream of living in NYC and dancing for joy.

I truly feel like the best expression of myself while I’m onstage and I am so grateful to be doing what I love most—tap dancing—across the country! I’ve crossed off so many of my bucket list shows (42nd Street, White Christmas, Anything Goes) while also pursuing another passion of mine, traveling, by getting to explore places I’ve always dreamed of visiting (I’m looking at you Zion National Park)!

Most recently I made my national tour debut (A DREAM COME TRUE!!!) in the ensemble of A Christmas Story! The last time I did this show was back in 2015 at my local community theatre and I had the most amazing time on this full circle experience.

My key personality traits include loving sharks, hating cheese, and always choosing kindness first. When I’m in the city you can usually find me on a walk through the park, wearing a fun thrifted sweater, tinsel in my hair, and matcha in hand. As of late, I have been spending my time on the mic at SLT teaching Lagree (megaformer pilates) along the upper west side! You can find my full schedule on my instagram @miyaheulitt!
